My Lil Misty May

Yesterday, Marisa had her 1st Volleyball game. This had been a long journey to get her to this point. Quite an accomplishment on her part, I must say. Marisa had never played Volleyball before. Last year, she wanted to play so badly, but because of her poor grades and her battle with undiagnosed ADHD, she was not able to try-out for the team. She has worked hard to get her grades up. As a matter of fact, her grades are now at Honor Roll level. Academics are a challenge for her, but now that I have her with a official diagnosis and treatment, she is able to concentrate so much better and it shows.

Since she earned an opportunity to try-out, she definately went for it. And went for it she did. She not only made the team, but she made the "A" team, which is like the Varsity team! I am so proud of my Lil Misty May Treanor! She was so nervous for her very first Volleyball game, but she did well. Her team did not win, but I know that once they find their groove, they will be just fine. Misty May would be proud. :)
